경북 지역에서 방위산업이나 모빌리티 부품을 만드는 중소기업이라면 주목해야 할 소식이 있습니다. 중소벤처기업부와 경상북도, 경북테크노파크가 힘을 모아 지역 특화형 스마트공장 구축을 지원하는 사업을 진행합니다. 이 사업은 단순히 공장 환경을 현대화하는 것을 넘어, 경북의 방산·모빌리티 산업을 지능형 공정 중심으로 완전히 재편하는 데 목적을 둡니다. 복잡한 제조 공정을 디지털로 전환하고 데이터 기반의 생산 시스템을 만드는 것이 핵심이죠.

1. What Is This Program About?

For small and medium-sized enterprises in Gyeongbuk that manufacture products for the defense industry or mobility components, an important opportunity has arisen. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and Gyeongbuk Technopark have joined forces to support the establishment of regionally specialized smart factories. This initiative aims not only to modernize the factory environment but also to completely transform Gyeongbuk’s defense and mobility industries into intelligent process-driven sectors. The core focus lies in digitally converting complex manufacturing processes and creating data-driven production systems.

A total budget of 2.4 billion KRW is allocated for this program, consisting of 1.2 billion KRW from the national government and another 1.2 billion KRW from local government funds. Depending on the company’s digital capabilities, support will be customized and divided into ‘advanced stage’ and ‘basic stage’ categories. Notably, if selected as a target company, Gyeongbuk Technopark will provide tailored assistance.
