1. What is this Program?
The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups is looking for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to collaborate with globally renowned research institutions for research and development (R&D). This program aims to enhance the technical competitiveness of participating companies to a world-class level and to assist them in successfully entering foreign markets.
Selected companies can receive up to 2.5 billion KRW in government-supported R&D funding for a period of up to 5 years. This is the second call for projects in 2026, with a total budget of approximately 3.34 billion KRW to support about 20 projects.

3. Eligibility for Application
This program supports global R&D cooperation for SMEs. Carefully confirm whether you meet the eligibility criteria.
– Enterprises classified as SMEs under Article 2 of the Small and Medium Enterprises Basic Act.
– SMEs intending to secure global technological competitiveness and enter overseas markets through collaborative R&D with globally renowned research institutions.
– Enterprises that do not meet the SME criteria as defined in Article 2 of the Small and Medium Enterprises Basic Act.
– Enterprises that are currently suspended or closed.
– Enterprises in arrears with national or local taxes.
– Enterprises in default with financial institutions or those subject to financial regulations.
– Enterprises that have applied for different projects within the same recruitment round or have already applied for another project cannot apply multiple times. (Only one application is allowed per project type and per project)
